From Cheltenham, the whole of the beautiful "Heart of England" is within easy reach. Many of the picture postcard villages, and towns are built in warm, honey-coloured limestone, and the scenery is some of the loveliest in England. 30 miles to the north is the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, and Warwick with its spectacular medieval castle. The university city of Oxford with its lovely spires, is just 39 miles to the east, and the famous spa town of Bath is only 43 miles to the south. So any visitor has a wealth of top attractions to visit, including famous gardens, stately homes and castles. Among these is the cathedral city of Gloucester and the woodlands of the Royal Forest of Dean. There is a Roman Villa, complete with mosaic floors, and Sudely Castle, in nearby Wynchcombe.

The victorian red bricked house is conveniently situated on the A40 Oxford/London road, one mile from the exact centre of the town and opposite a lovely old church.We are a few minutes walk away from an excellent licensed restaurant which regularly does special offers.

All our bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, remote control television and are centrally heated. We sometimes have an open log fire in the dining room. There is private car parking. As far as possible, everything in Orion House is environmentally friendly and not tested on animals.
