We are only 10 minutes walk from York Minster and other main attractions. We are also situated on the road which is ideal for the Yorkshire Moors, Dales and James Herriot Country.

Feversham Lodge was converted from a 19th century Methodist Manse to a Guest House in 1980.

It still retains its characteristic original features in the Dining Room, Lounge and some guest rooms. Details such as the stained glass fornt door panels, Italian marble fireplace and beautiful Victorian ceiling roses have lasted for over 100 years.

All rooms offer either en-suite or hot and cold vanity units, colour television and radion-alarm clocks. Additional personal touches include tourist information folders.

We also have some rooms that are ideal for honeymoon couples and people who want to have a special vacation in the city of York. We also accept special requests individually to prepare flowers, cards and chocolates etc.

One bedroom has been beautifully refurbished in "Laura Ashley" style, with a king size four poster bed, a room which retains an original Victorian fireplace with original tiles.

One bedroom has been completely redecorated in English traditional "Laura Ashley" style, with a canopy bed.

Also, another bedroom has been changed into a lovely double or family room with a spacious en suite corner bathroom. This room is especially suitable for poeple who want to relax in a hot bath at the end of the day.

All of them are spacious and relaxing rooms.

We offer a delicious home fresh cooked Full English, Continental or Vegetarian Breakfast.

DIRECTIONS: Locate the A1237 outer ring road north of York. Turn off at the B1363 York District Hospital sign, go over two sets of traffic lights, then 1st right; we are 1st on left in Feversham Crescent.
