Moffat is a beautiful town, set in a wide valley among the rolling hills of Southern Scotland, and is a frequent regional winner in the 'Scotland in Bloom' competition.
The town is only 60 minutes from Glasgow by motorway and 55 minutes from Edinburgh by main road.
The Lodge is a large Victorian building, built in 1874 and located in a quiet cul-de-sac one quarter of a mile from the centre of Moffat. It has over an acre of attractive gardens with mature trees and lawns.
The house is centrally heated throughout, with an open fire in the guest lounge for inclement weather. Children and babies are most welcome. A cot and high chair (and toys) are provided. We also welcome pets. There is ample private parking.
We have three letting rooms, one of which is a family suite. One twin room on the ground floor is en suite and has its own access via French windows. This room is well suited for the elderly or the handicapped. Other rooms have adjacent private bathrooms. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities and television. We are happy to let rooms as singles.
Our ground floor en suite bedroom can also be adapted to serve as part of a self catering flat (for two people), which we let by the week - Saturday to Saturday.
