Glenisla is a spacious bungalow in the secluded hamlet of Sliddery in the south west of the island, half a mile from the shore.
There are three bedrooms sleeping five/seven people, a large sitting room with a
sea view, two bathrooms and a roomy kitchen with all the usual equipment. The
accommodation has full central heating, double glazing and an open fire.
The garden is a peaceful quarter of an acre of lawns, shrubs and trees,
surrounded by fields.
Arran is called 'Scotland in miniature'. There are mountains, bays and beaches,
seals, deer and myriads of birds, and many other outdoor activities. It is only
50 minutes by ferry from Ardrossan but remains unspoilt, with a climate
considerably milder than the mainland - palms flourish on the western side of
the island.
