In a peaceful village, this former manse is a happy and much-loved house. Energy and affection have been poured too, into the lovely and once derelict garden. You will warm to the naturalness of it all.

You have the drawing room - with old pictures and a log fire - to yourselves, and if you stay for dinner you'll eat, maybe, fish or game, good country food.

Your hosts are keen on country life and its sporting activities, although no longer take part.

Some amazing floral wallpapers and comfortable bedrooms. There are two twin bedrooms and one single and they are only let to members of the same party, sharing a bathroom.

Breakfast served up to 9.30am.
