Built in 1904, Copperwood has been our family home since 1988. Situated only five minutes by car from Gatwick Airport, yet away from the flight path, we are ideally placed for offering a warm welcome and clean, comfortable accommodation to guests from all over the world. Whether you are flying in or out of Gatwick, visiting a specific event, working locally or touring London, you will be glad you chose Copperwood as your base.
We are only two minutes walk from Horley Town Centre with its shops, pubs and restaurants and eight minutes from Horley Railway Station, which is on the main London/Victoria to Brighton line with its twice hourly service; Gatwich Airport is the next stop along.
A full English breakfast is served in the attractive breakfast room. This room is available to guests at all times and has a pay phone, easy chairs and a selection of magazines. For those guests who are departing early, a self-service Continental breakfast is available.
For your comfort, all cosy bedrooms are equipped with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radio alarms, electric shaver points, hairdyers and full central heating.
All bedrooms have their own private facilities, including shower, wash basin and toilet. All children are welcome and cots can be provided free of charge. An iron is available for guests use on request.
Courtesy airport transferes are usually available between 06.30 and 22.00; except for Saturday nights, otherwise we are happy to arrange a taxi for you. (approx. 4.00 UK pounds)
We have a small car park at the rear of the house, immediately off Massetts Road, which guests are welcome to use; arrangements can also be made for holiday parking.
We have learned that the majority of our guests prefer to stay in a non-smoking environment. With this in mind, we operate a totally NON-SMOKING policy at the Guest House.
