Broadoaks Country House is constructed in traditional Lakeland stone with a sweeping driveway. It is situated in the heart of the uncommercialised Troutbeck Valley. It commands magnificent views of Ill Bell and High Street fells and lake Windermere.

Broadoaks is situated in several acres and has been lovingly restored to its former Victorian glory. All the bedrooms are individually decorated and designed and are all en-suite, with a choice of four poster, Victorian beds and Jacuzzi, spa, whirlpool or Victorian baths. All rooms have multi-channel Sky TV, direct dial telephone, radio alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, sparkling water, fresh fruit, hairdyers and bath robes.

There is a magnificent music room in which to relax at any time of the day with a log fire to warm you in the chilly evenings. Whilst you relax we offer a selection of alcoholic beverages including many malt whiskies and fine cognacs. the recently extended restaurant offers magnificent views and the chance to sample a superb choice of locally produced food. All dishes are freshly perpared by our chef and the standard and presentation is simply second to none. We offer a House menu together with an extensive choice on our A-La-Carte. To compliment dinner we offer a extensive range of fine and rare wines.

We have a 6 hole putting green, bowling green, croquet lawn, Victorian swing and a love seat. With a woodland walk to the river Troutbeck famous for its brown trout fishing.

Guests have complimentary use of a corporate leisure club situated approximately 2 miles away.

There is a supplement for single occupancy. There is NO SMOKING in the dining room. Children are welcome to stay over the age of 5 years. Children's rates apply subject to availability and demand. Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement.
