Situated in the beautiful Parish of Saintbury at the foot of the North Cotswold escarpment and enjoying magnificent views of the hills, it stands alone in the peaceful surroundings of open farmland 500 metres off the B4035, one and a half miles from the village of Bretforton.
The Pond House is a superb country home, converted from a 100 year old farm cottage by owners Ray and Anne Payne. Fitted and decorated to a high standard, offering attractively furnished rooms ensuring comfort and tranquillity throughout your stay. The delightful secluded position provides a truly English countryside setting where guests are encouraged to relax and while away the stress of modern life.
We are ideally placed for touring the Cotswolds, being only 3 miles from Broadway and Chipping Campden. Nearby, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham Racecourse and the Vale of Evesham are to be found. For eating out, we can point you in the direction of many nearby restaurants and country inns, serving a variety of food to suit all tastes.
ACCOMMODATION:
Room 1. A well appointed double room with en suite shower, toilet and hand basin. Double aspect giving wonderful views of the Cotswold hills and Saintbury.
Room 2. A pretty double room with en suite shower, toilet and hand basin. Overlooking the garden and pond with uninterrupted views of several Cotswold Hills.
Room 3. A spacious and comfortable twin bedded room with luxurious en suite bathroom providing bath, separate shower, basin, bidet and toilet. Also having views of the Cotswold Hills and Saintbury.
Room 4. Our spacious and well appointed ground floor room, with a Super King-size bed or twin bedded. En suite bathroom providing bath/shower, vanity basin and toilet.
All rooms have central heating, remote controlled colour television, radio alarms, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and easy chairs. Your room and shower/bath room will be serviced daily and fresh towels supplied.
The Pond House has a very comfortable and attrractive guest sitting room looking onto gardens and leading into our conservatory, where breakfast is served at individual tables.
