The Managing Director of AccomoDATA paid a visit to the White Hart on Sunday 29th June with his family on their way to see the National Trust home of Uppark. Sunday lunch was very very good. The roast lamb was served up in very ample portions with lovely "crunky" roast potatoes!
Dessert was simply gorgeous..... Roly Poly Jam and custard !!!!
Cost for full 2-course Sunday Lunch for 4 adults was 36 pounds....worth every penny!
The extensive menu means that a repeat visit is an abolute must and it may even be in the next few weeks.
The atmosphere in the bar was very friendly and the owner gave a surprise sample of "yorkshire pudding" served up in a bowl on its own with gravy.
Well worth a visit when you are next in this sleepy part of the Hampshire/Sussex borders.
