Norman and Sheila Tindal have created a superb, cosy, family run hotel since acquiring the attractive eight bedroomed sandstone building in 1980.

The welcoming lounge features a log fire and there's real ale on draught. Food features high on the list of reasons to frequent the Ravenshill. Hardly surprising with an excellent chef as one of the proprietors and a keen gardener the other.

The comfortable dinning room seats up to 48 people and is ideal for small weddings, private dinner parties or meetings. The French doors give direct access onto the lawns bordered by mature trees. Daily 'Specials' are featured in addition to the a la carte menu, and you can enjoy either in the dinning room or as a bar meal.

All bedrooms have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and private facilities. There's even a four poster bed for that special occasion or honeymoon - after all we're only fifteen minutes from Gretna Green!

Set in 2.5 acres of mature gardens with private car park, Ravenshill House is just half a mile west of Lockerbie town centre, with easy access from the motorway, its ideal for business or pleasure. All types of breaks are catered for, and we can arrange fishing permits and golf locally.
