The Dean's is a large Edwardian family home decorated and furnished in period style with an informal atmosphere. Many original features are to be seen, including a fireplace in the large welcoming hall.
The house is situated across the Park from the Town Centre, and conveniently for the Railway Sation. Both are approximately 10 minutes walk away.
Breakfast is served in the 'Art Nouveau' furnished dining room around a shared table. 'Real' bacon features as part of the Full English Breakfast, with eggs served any way you like!
The en suite bathroom is oak panelled, with a double ended bath and decorated underglazed wash basin, panelled toilet and shaverpoint. (Reminiscent of a ships cabin apparently)
Our guest bathroom is of the large variety, with separate power shower cubicle, original cast iron roll-top bath, hand made tube lined tiling, bidet etc. Old fashioned opulence with modern plumbing!

There are many local pubs and restaurants serving excellent food in the vicinity - ask for recommendation.
The 1/3rd acre, well stocked walled garden, which guests are welcome to use, is a feature of the house. The owner is a keen plantswoman.
The town of Horsham is conviently situated with excellent road and rail links to London and the South Coast. Approximate distances:
Trains to London run regularly, taking 60 minutes or less.
The ancient market town has been pedestrianised over recent years and the shopping centre now offers many big High Street names alongside smaller specialised retailers, with pavement cafes and band stand area combining to give a relaxed informal feel. The town offers many facilities for recreation such as an Arts Centre, Sports Centre, swimming pool, golf and public park.
OUT & ABOUT
Leonardslee Gardens, Nymans, Wakehurst Place, Parham, Borde Hill and West Dean Gardens are all, to name but a few, within easy reach.
