Isle of Lismore Holiday Homes are two purpose-built semi-detached cottages situated to the south of the island. Each cottage sleeps up to 6 people (one double, one twin & bed settee), with an open plan kitchen/living room and bathroom with shower. They are centrally heated from a multi-fuel stove and each has a fridge, washing machine, television and electric cooker. The cottages have their own enclosed garden.

Lismore (meaning Big Garden in Gaelic) is an island in Loch Linnhe, easily approached by a car ferry from Oban, or by a five minute crossing on the passenger ferry from Port Appin. The island is about 12 miles long by 2 miles wide, with freshwater lochs. The highest point is Barr Mor, a little ovr 400' high. There is a small shop and Post Office about two miles from the cottages. A Post Bus is in operation on the island and a taxi service is also available. There are no petrol pumps on the island so if you intend to take your car, be sure to fill up before you come over!

The island has an abundance of wildlife such as seals, otters, seabirds, hen harriers and buzzards and is noted for its wild flowers and plants.

Lismore can offer you a very quiet and peaceful holiday or if you are feeling more energetic there are plenty of scenic walks, places to bicycle or go fishing. Oban and Fort William are both worth a visit, with attractions like the Nevis Range (Skiing, guided mountain walks, gondola), Rare Breeds Park, Sea Life Centre, Swimming Pools and Pony Trekking.
