Sunny Lodge is an interesting Victorian Guest House surrounded by a lovely garden, once owned by the Earl of Radnor. It is situated in an ideal spot close to the town centre amenities and shops, with travel facilities such as Le Shuttle and the Seacat for the Continent both within easy reach within minutes. The train station is a few minutes walk for travel within the U.K.

From the moment you arrive, you will be offered a warm and friendly welcome and aim to satisfy your needs where possible. Sunny Lodge is noted for its high standards and recommended by the Hotel Association. Many visitors return year after year.

All the rooms are bright, clean and pleasant with comfortable armchairs, colour television, hospitality tray, trouser press and central heating together with individual washing facilities to ensure you enjoy your stay, be it for one night, one week or longer.

You can be rest assured you will receive value for money. A fully cooked English breakfast is provided and for early starters we can arrange breakfast in your room. Vegetarians are catered for if prior notice is given.

There are a variety of quality restaurants and take-away food outlets to suit all budgets within a short walking distance, also the convenience of a 24 hour shop is just around the corner.

A five minute drive to the M20 Junction 12, and you can hop onto the Channel Tunnel and have a nice day in Calais or venture further into France. You can board the Seacat from the harbour, which is a few minutes away, for a trip to Boulogne. Alternatively, a short ride away is Dover where all the major ferries operate to ports in France.

FOLKESTONE: The "Rotunda" is a traditional seaside fun park with Log Fumes, Dodgems, crazy golf, a Helter Skelter and of course a fun park wouldn't be the same without a Ghost Train! There are also bowling greens for the people who want a quieter time, or take the Victorian Leas Cliff Lift up to the Promenade, where there are a fine selection of restaurants, cafes, bistros and pubs. For market lovers there is a market every Sunday on the Harbour or a monthly French market in Sandgate Lane.

Apart from the beautiful Kent countryside, there are many other interesting places to visit in the immediate surroundings.

Open all year. Private car parking facilities.
