As the Wales Tourist Board's National "Welcome Hosts of the Year" in 2000 and Regional "Welcome Hosts of the Year" in 1999 and 2000, Pat and Ken guarantee guests (future friends?) the very warmest of welcomes to Glyntwrog House

Glyntwrog House, which was built in 1885, nestles at the edge of the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed in five and a half acres of peaceful woodland and enjoys spectacular views of the magnificent Conwy Valley. The house provides guests with a peaceful haven but is, nevertheless, within easy walking distance of the extremely popular picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. There are numerous beauty spots and places of general and historical interest within easy travelling distance of Betws-y-Coed and Glyntwrog House provides an ideal base from which to explore the delights of the surrounding area.

An attractive dining room with individual tables where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast cooked by Pat on a traditional AGA. A five course evening meal is available (by prior arrangement), when our food may be complemented by drinks from our wine list. Special diets can be catered for by prior request.

Glyntwrog House has a large newly refurbished family room. Well behaved children aged 5 and above are welcome. All four tastefully furnished bedrooms (one family, two doubles and one twin), have:

A cosy residents' lounge which provides an ideal place for meeting family and friends, reading, writing or simply watching television.

We have a residential licence and will be happy to serve you drinks during your stay at Glyntwrog House.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES:

Glyntwrog house is a strictly NON SMOKING establishment
