Langcliffe Country House is a charming detached house of character, located in the lovely Dales village of Kettlewell. It offers a unique combination of privacy and tranquillity within the spectacular setting of Upper Wharfedale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The rear of the house overlooks the village beck, whilst the front commands glorious views across Wharfedale.

Langcliffe has six bedrooms, all of which are en suite. A family suite is also available. For our disabled guests, a ground floor, twin bedded room has been fully adapted with accessibility for wheelchairs. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, clock radio, television and shaver socket. We have central heating throughout and a log fire in winter in our residents' lounge.

The majority of our guests come to us either for repeat visits or on recommendation. Guests often comment on our beautiful conservatory restaurant with its spectacular views and most admire the quality and style of a period country house which we endeavour to maintain. The abundance of fresh flowers throughout is also appreciated.

We have gained a reputation for our high quality of food. Everything is home-made using local produce and fresh vegetables, and a choice of menu which is changed daily, is offered. Vegetarians and guests who have special requirements are catered for with pleasure. We offer a selection of carefully chosen wines to compliment your meal. The hotel is fully licensed.

The village of Kettlewell is an ideal base for a great variety of outdoor activities. One can choose an energetic fell walk, or a leisurely stroll along the river bank following the many signposted routes. The well-known Dales Way passes along the house. Those looking for a base from which to tour or go sightseeing will be impressed by the number of picturesque and interesting places to visit, all within close proximity of Kettlewell.

The historic market town of Skipton, famous for its medieval castle is the nearest town to Kettlewell. Harrogate, York, Rippon and Richmond are all within easy driving distance.
