Aberdovey is one of Wales (and Britains) prettiest coastal villages offering visitors an unrivelled combination of beach, estuary, sea, countryside and excellent local amenities.

Set on the prime seafront location, the Harbour Hotel is a classic Victorian seaside mansion painstakingly restored over the last decade to provide every modern comfort and authentic period atmosphere.

We have nine suites and bedrooms, three of which are two bedroomed family suites, three are double or twin bedrooms of a very high standard with sea views and three are standard double or single bedrooms.

One of each category is designated non smoking and no pets. Each of the nine suites and bedrooms has an en suite bathroom, direct dial telephone, television and radio, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and hair dryer.

Our two bedroomed family suites have a double bedroom, bathroom and separate childrens bedroom with single or bunk beds. Cots and high chairs are available and there is a variety of baby listening systems.

We have three restaurants. Rumbles is a coffee shop, tea room and popular family restaurant. During the summer months residents breakfasts are served in Rumbles and it is open all day and evening.

Wellies is a bistro style restaurant in the hotel basement which opens from seven o'clock every evening during the summer.

Wellies and Rumbles both have extensive but different a la carte menus and because they are popular with vistors and locals alike, our residents need to reserve tables in advance if they wish to use either restaurant. Wellies and Rumbles opening times are substantially reduced during the winter months.

The Harbour Restaurant is a traditional hotel dining room with an a la carte menu and is a non smoking area.

Vegan and vegetarian dishes are always available in our restaurants and special diets can be catered for with notice.

We have two sitting rooms. The larger sitting room has a comprehensive bar for residents and is not therefore suitable for children. The smaller sitting room is a non smoking area and is suitable for children.

Aberdovey is a conservation village within the Snowdonia National Park. Although very small, with a resident population of only about five hundred people, the amenities are excellent, with a championship eighteen hole links golf course, an ideal location for walking, bird watching, five miles of sandy beaches and dunes, an estuary suitable for all water sports and a good range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The hinterland offers many varied places of interest and activity, many of international renown. We will be happy to supply details to prospective visitors.

Parties accommodated and catered for. Golfing packages a speciality. Small business conferences and management courses up to 20 people.
