Damsels Farm is a rambling 14th century Grade II Listed farmhouse with a special family feel about it, having been owned by the Burdett family for several generations. It was originally named after Sir Richard Damsel and was the Dower House for the Painswick Manor used by Henry VIII as his hunting lodge. Anne Boleyn is reputed to have planted the huge oak tree which still stands in the front garden. Over the years Damsel Farm has been used as a cider farm, the orchard being let on a "Red Rose" rent by the Lord of Painswick Manor.

Today it is run as a small sheep farm by Michelle and Peter Burdett. Guests will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere and the peaceful tranquility of the house, which has been in the Burdett family for several generations. Beautiful views from the house stretch across to a wooded hillside.

All the bedrooms are nicely furnished, each with several items of the family's history, offer tea and coffee making facilities and are centrally heated. Two of the rooms have en suite facilities. There is also a sitting room which has an open fire, for guests use.
