Skeabost House hotel built in 1870, stands in 12 acres of secluded woodland and landscaped gardens with glorious views over loch Snizort. Opposite the golf course lies St Columbas Island, one of Skye's most historic sites.

The panelled dining room offers the best of Skye and Scotlands larder. An extensive buffet is served in our conservatory at lunchtime, while in the evening it offers a wide selection of light suppers with spectacular views of the loch.

FISHING: The hotel owns eight miles on both banks of the river Snizort. It is a spate river and salmon and seatrout run when in flood. The hotel has a boat on the Storr Lochs, 5 miles north of Portree, where excellent brown trout fishing can be had. FREE salmon fishing and FREE golf on a 3 day stay or more.

GOLF: The golf course is very popular with both our guests and locals. A tricky course surrounded by trees.
