LOCATION:
Duror village on the beautiful West coast of Scotland, between Oban and Fort William on the A828. Quietly situated new house, just off the main road with outstanding mountain views and countryside.
The district is very historic, sitting in Robert Louis Stevenson's "Kidnapped" country. Hill walking and "Munro bagging", with Glencoe on our doorstep. Quiet country and coastal walks, sailing, horse riding and fishing locally.
Easy day trips to the Isle of Skye, Isle of Mull and the magical island of Iona. Castle Stalker on its island is only 5 miles away as are many more places of interest. 7 miles from Fort William is Aonach Mor, near Ben Nevis which has summer(dry) and winter skiing, snowboarding and gondolas for splendid views. Glencoe ski area and chair lift also gives winter skiing.
