Nestling neatly amidst the valleys and pine clad mountains of the Argyll Forest Park which rise steeply from the shores of Loch Eck, Stratheck Caravan Park provides the ideal choice for the right 'get away from it all' break amongst some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.
This is perfect country for hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, sailing and fishing. Permits for fishing Loch Eck are available in season from the park, with boat hire obtainable locally.
Picnic areas are numerous on the banks of this enchanting loch which richly deserves its title of 'The Jewel of Cowal'.
Dunoon provides entertainment with theatre, cinema, sports centre, pool, tennis, golf, bowling, trekking and discos for the younger ones. Good restaurants are plentiful as are many varied visitor attractions serving all tastes and budgets.
The famous Younger Botanic Gardens with plants and gardens from around the world, and Pucks Glen are just two of many delightful walks, views from which should not be missed. Good roads and little traffic make journeys in the area a pleasure.
We are a small friendly run park with amenities to suit, including a friendly bar with occasional entertainment, well stocked shop, games room, play areas, launderette and shower facility.
The park benefits from boundaries of fields to the east and the clear flowing waters of the River Eachaig to the west. Large grass areas also make for ease of recreation. Come and enjoy the tranquil scenery of Argyll - even in peak season.
