For people who enjoy panoramic views with wonderfully expansive skies and dramatic seascapes, Caithness is right up there - at the top. The county holds a wealth of interest for the outdoor enthusiast and has a justifiable attraction for nature lovers. The bird and plantlife are of particular importance. For those who prefer fieldsport, Caithness can boast some of the finest fishing on loch or sea, as well as excellent shooting.

The Park hotel is an ideal base for touring the beautiful north coast of Scotland or sailing to The Orkney Isles. There are good bus connections from nearby and for those visitors arriving by train, the hotel is just a pleasant walk away.

For families on holiday there are several beautiful beaches and exhilarating coastal walks to keep the children happy for hours, but if you want to go off for a more strenuous outing, the day trip to Orkney is excellent value.
