Corbridge is one of Northumberland's most attractive and historic villages and we are situated in the centre of the village. From the rear of the house there are wonderful views of the bridge, the River Tyne and the surrounding countryside.

We have a comfortable ten bedroom country guest house providing bed and breakfast accommodation.

The building dates from the 18th century and is furnished to a high standard.

The business is family run and has a friendly atmosphere.

All bedrooms have colour television, hairdryers, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Seven of our bedrooms are en suite and the house has full central heating. Hair dryers, shoe cleaning and ironing facilities are available.

Business people and those working, find that Corbridge is an ideal location being on the junction of the A68 and the A69 and with the A1 circling Newcastle only 20 minutes away. After a busy day the peaceful village setting can be enjoyed.

Holiday makers find that Corbridge is a good stopping point on the holiday route to Scotland and is easily accessible for Newcastle Airport and the North Sea Ferry terminal. It is also an excellent centre to explore Hadrian's Wall, the Northumberland National Park and the historic English border country. For those not historically minded, the Gateshead Metro Centre with its many shops and leisure activities is only 20 minutes away and the market town of Hexham only 5 minutes away.

Corbridge itself has a wonderful range of small and interesting shops.

Families are welcome and we have two family rooms available and a cot can be provided.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but not allowed in public rooms and must have their own bed.

There are numerous golf courses in the area to suit all handicaps. Fishing is also available in river, lake or reservoir. Walkers are well catered for with a great variety of lowland and hill walks. Packed lunches are available on request. Swimming pools are available at Hexham and Prudhoe and in Hexham there is a leisure centre providing a variety of sports.

A wide selection of bars and restaurants are located in the village all within easy walking distance.

As the vast majority of our guests do not smoke, we DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING in the guest house.
