WELCOME TO ALBAN HOUSE
Pleasantly situated within walking distance of the town centre, Alban House offers a unique blend of service and facilities, making it the ideal venue for business or pleasure. The ambience throughout is one of comfort and relaxation from the moment you walk through the entrance.
After a full and interesting day you can relax in our cosy dining room which offers a wide range of Traditional Scottish Fayre - a snack menu is also available.
Afterwards enjoy the evening sunset with a glass of "uisge beatha" in the garden at the side of our fresh water fish pond.
Thereafter have a good nights sleep in your en suite room, knowing that your car is safely parked in the private off street parking provided. We pride ourselves in being able to cater for all ages.
INVERNESS is the capital of the Highlands. Over the last number of years, Inverness has become even more famous with the films Loch Ness, Braveheart and Rob Roy being filmed nearby. Inverness is only one hour fifteen minutes by air from London. Train station is fifteen minutes from Alban House.
ACTIVITIES: Go on a Loch Ness cruise.
FISHING: On some of the best salmon rivers in Scotland.
GOLFING: On some of the most scenic links and inland courses in Scotland.
HISTORICAL: Culloden battlefield, scene of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion. There are also some memories left of Oliver Cromwell. Visit Cawdor Castle, Urquart Castle, Dunrobin Castle, Dunvegan Castle (Isle of Skye). Castle of Mey - residence of H.M. Queen Mother).
SKIING: Aviemore is some 35 minutes drive away.
WALKING: Many hills and forest walks.
WHISKEY TRAIL: This is most interesting. Hic! Hic! Hic!
WOOLLEN MILL TRAIL: See some of Scotlands produce, visit the local woollen mill.
HAGGIS HUNTING: Depending on the season.
THEATRE: Eden Court is a two minute walk from Alban House.
AQUADOME & SPORTS CENTRE: Five minutes walk from Alban House.
