Cruachan is a detatched, period country cottage in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Kirkmichael, Perthshire but within walking distance of all the local amenities. It is equal distance from Pitlochry and Blairgowrie on the A924 and is ideally suited for touring the Highlands of Scotland.

Within a short drive is Scone Palace, Blair Castle and Glamis - golf courses at Blairgowrie, Pitlochry, Strathmore and many, many more - there are historic towns and beautiful scenery - in fact something for everyone.

We have three cosy bedrooms all with either private or en suite facilities. All are tastefully decorated and one has a four poster bed. A colour television is in each room together with hospitality tray. There is a lounge to relax in and a garden to enjoy, off road parking and drying facilities.

Having recently retired from the hotel industry with an award winning restaurant we, Daphne and Alan, now enjoy welcoming guests to our home and converting guests into friends. We take pride in preparing specialist dinners using the wealth of Scotlands Larder and in the morning offer a varied breakfast menu.

In 1999 we were proud to accept a Glenturret/Perthshire Tourist Board Award for our food.

• Bed and breakfast from 19.50 to 23.50 per person for two people sharing a room
• Single occupancy from 22.50 to 26.50

A la carte dinner menu - for example a 2 course meal from approx. 9.95 per person. Each dish is individually prepared using fresh produce.
