Abbey Lodge was built as a gentleman's residence around 1870 and is now owned and personally run by Trish and Geoffrey Howard. It has been completely refurbished to combine every modern comfort with its original charm and character ..... elegant yet homely.

Guests can relax in our charming Drawing Room with its open fire and elegant furniture. Put your feet up and have a quiet moment to yourself or join with other guests to exchange the day's experiences.

Enjoy breakfast in our country house style dining room. Choose from a variety of fruits and cereals and a traditional cooked breakfast or continental breakfast. We always try to cater for individual tastes and requirements.

All bedrooms are individually decorated to a high standard and furnished with traditional pine furniture. Each has its own luxurious bath and shower room with many extra welcoming touches ... offering every comfort to guests.

Spend a lazy afternoon with tea and scones in our lovely private garden overlooking the Great Orme. Take time to relax and savour the joys of being waited on while you plan your next foray.

Abbey Lodge is quiety situated only a few minutes from the centre of the Victorian resort town of Llandudno with its wide bay and gracious promenade. A short stroll from Abbey Lodge in the opposite direction will take you to the West Shore and views of the mountains and the island of Anglesey.

Just down the road you can board a Victorian tram to take you to the summit of the Great Orme with its breath-taking panoramic views, wild life, country park, ancient copper mines, ski slope, tobbogan run and cable cars.

Further afield is the historic town of Conwy and its ancient castle, the beautiful Conwy valley, and the wild mountains and valleys of the Snowdon range. Explore or just sit and watch the reflections on the quiet lakes.
