High Street House ia a cosy, family run guest house close to the centre of Windermere. We have comfortable twin and double rooms all with en suite facilities, tea/coffee making facilities and colour televisions.
We offer a great breakfast and more importantly, excellent value for money!
We are close to all local amenities, just 100 yards from the rail station, tourist information centre and main bus route. There is an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars close by ........... and of course there's the magnificent Lake Windermere just a short walk away.
Walkers and climbers are spoilt for choice, while for the less energetic, local tour operators can arrange coach trips to take in breath taking scenery throughout the Lake District.
