Swallow Apartments are established well equipped holiday homes, close to the beach, but free from the sand etc., ideal as a base to explore and enjoy the island. There are ground and first floor apartments available.

Each flat is fully furnished with one or more bedrooms, lounge, bathroom/toilet, kitchen/diner, easy to clean and run. Each flat has its own slot meter for the supply of electricity.

All normal requirements are provided, such as bed linen, towels, colour television with satellite, kettle, electric heaters, hot water, fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. Cots and high chairs are available by request.

The premises are under the supervision of the proprietor, who will help you to enjoy your stay here in Guernsey, with any individual requirements that you may have. Amenities of a hotel close by may be utilised.

The flats are surrounded by lawns and flower beds and space has been provided where young children may play in safety. Play gear is available for their use.

There is a temperature controlled pool, conservatory, spa bath, solarium etc.

Pembroke Bay is our nearest popular beach, about 350 metres across the common, with the Guernsey average sunshine record of 2,000 hours per year, popular for all beach pleasures, including wind-surfing. Attractive sun bathing places where one can enjoy privacy are there to be found.

L'Ancresse Common provides access to beaches, the golf course, the Dolmen Graves which are as old as the Pyramids, Napoleonic Towers, German Bunkers, the marina and fishing harbour, restaurants, bars and shops etc.

All kinds of boating or fishing trips can be arrranged from here to extend the islands charms, according to time available. Plane or boat excursions to other islands or France are also well worth doing. Many interesting places can be explored from here on foot, by bicycle or car, including restaurants, bars and discos.

We are 15 minutes by bus from St Peter Port, however car hire is very reasonable and petrol is cheap on the island and we have a free car park for guests. Bikes can also be hired. A taxi or hire car can be arranged to meet you at the harbour or airport if required.

During an average two week stay you will get a variety of weather. If you use the good days for the beach, the dull periods for exploring, and leave the town, the leisure centre, solariums and the many undercover places for rainy times, you can enjoy all your stay here.

The natural coastline beauty at the beginning and end of the summer has to be seen to be appreciated.
