We would like to welcome you to Greenacres, a small family run guest house, which has been carefully furnished to a very high standard, and every effort is made to make your stay with us a memorable one in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with all home comforts.

Our luxury bedrooms (single, double, twin and family) all have full en suite facilities and are equipped with central heating, colour television, radio alarms, hair dryers and hospitality trays.

In our cosy dining room you will be served traditional Cumbrian breakfast, or continental should you prefere it. We will gladly prepare you a packed lunch should you decide to spend a day exploring the area.

Evening meals are available on request; home cooking at its best, using only the freshest of ingredients. All diets, especially gluten free, are willingly catered for. A choice of wine is available to complement your meal. Afterwards you can relax in our lovely conservatory or lounge - with log fire in the winter.

We are ideally placed to explore the lakes, Dales and Morecambe Bay. We are situated in the village of Lindale at the foot of the beautiful Winster Valley where you can walk in unspoilt countryside. Grange-over-Sands, renowned for its mild climate, is two miles away, where you can enjoy strolling on the promenade or in the impressive ornamental gardens. The southern shores of Windermere are just six miles away, and there are many museums, stately homes, castles and places of interest all within easy reach.

We have a wealth of maps and guide books, and can arrange walking itineraries.
