Hanworth House is located in the picturesque village of Litcham in North Norfolk. Centrally located, Litcham is within easy reach of Swaffam, East Dereham and Fakenham.

The North Norfolk coast, popular with yachtsman, bird watchers and ramblers is just 30 minutes away by car. Holiday makers and business people will appreciate the facilities of Hanworth House, which has been designed with "hotel style" bedrooms. Later in the year the facilities will be extended to include a snooker room and gymnasium.

We are open all the year round and would welcome shooting parties, their dogs can be accommodated in an outside secure kennel.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children under 12 years and we do not allow smoking in the rooms, but there is always the garden and the snooker room!

There is a choice of twin or double bedrooms, which are situated on the ground floor with easy access to the car park and garages. They each have the following features:

We do not serve evening meals, apart from sandwiches for starving late arrivals! There are several pubs in the area serving reasonably priced pub grub, but for a more formal dinner there are several high class restaurants within a short drive.

Shopping: Norwich 30 minutes, Kings Lynn 20 minutes, Fakenham and Swaffam 15 minutes.

Sailing/windsurfing: Brancaster 30 minutes.

Birdwatching: Holme-next-Sea, Titchwell, Stiffkey Marshes and Blakeney, all 30 minutes by car.

Walking: Nearby Peddlers Way. Litcham is the half way point of the Nar Valley path.

Golf: Royal Brancaster, Hunstanton and Barnham Broom.

Sites of Special Interest: Castle Acre Priory, Great Walsingham, Holkham Hall and Bickling Hall.
