The Merrywood Guest House is situated 60 yards off the Eastbourne seafront,
close to bowling greens, gardens and a new tea pavilion. Near all shops,
restaurants and churches. Also railway and coach stations nearby.
Walk along the Promenade to the well loved Carpet Gardens and Pier, or visit one
of Eastbourne's Theatres.
A short drive away takes you to the beautiful South Downs and views of the
famous Beachy Head for peaceful walks.
Children's Treasure Island nearby and Fort Fun, Sovereign Leisure Centre and of
course the new Marina.
The Merrywood is open all year round for long or short breaks. Mid-week bookings
accepted. We offer seven comfortable bright rooms with televisions, tea and
coffee making facilities and central heating. Bath and shower rooms. There is a
comfortable lounge and dining room where you have a choice of breakfast.
