Comfort and cordiality are the main features of this small hotel which is tucked away in a cul-de-sac off the city's main southern artery, the Abingdon Road. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre (which is just a mile away) and also only three minutes from a bus stop.

All rooms are en suite and have central heating, television, shaver points and tea/coffee making facilities. There is some parking space and limited covered parking is available.

It is an excellent base from which to make trips to the beautiful stone villages of the Cotswolds, to Blenheim Palace (9 miles away), Waddesdon Manor and many other splendid houses and to Stratford-upon-Avon, only 40 miles to the north. London, too, is within easy reach by road, rail or a good coach service. Oxford city itself with its historic colleges is best explored on foot and deserves more than a fleeting visit.
