A warm welcome awaits friends old and new at Church Farm House. Built in 1723 it oozes character, thick stone walls, low beamed ceilings, log fires and traditional decorations combine with an enviable view of the North Yorkshire Moors to guarantee a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area.

Whether you choose to explore on foot, by bicycle, horse or car you will never be short of places to visit with so many points of interest nearby. Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, York and Teeside to name but a few. Not forgetting the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway which runs through the village which has become fictitiously known to millions of televisions' Heartbeat viewers as 'Aidensfield'.

We are situated in the heart of the village, just behind the beautiful church. A few minutes walk from the railway station, village shops and the famous Mallyan Spout waterfall. We can arrange bicycle hire for you and point you in the right direction for many lovely walks.

We have an excellent reputation for our food, traditional recipes cooked on the Aga using local produce whenever possible. Vegetarians welcome and special diets catered for. Morning coffee, afternoon teas and evening dinners are available, together with a varied snack menu of home cooked food. English and Continental breakfasts, packed lunches and flasks also available.

BEDROOMS: Single, twins, family. En suite availble in some rooms. All beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Fresh flowers, tea/coffee making tray with home made biscuits. Towels changed daily. Hairdryer.

GUEST FACILITIES: Guest lounge with log burning stove, comfortable furniture. Chess table and games. Convervatory/dining area overlooking garden and heather covered moor. Garden filled with traditional old fashioned plants, herbs, vegetables and fruit. Free range hens in separate area. Garden furniture, lawns and garden games for the children. You are welcome to use any of the facilities all day and evening.

Suitable disabled access, parking available and use of laundry and drying facilities. Also telephone available.

FOR CHILDREN: We welcome children of any age, children's meals available. Toys, high chair and travel cot. We can willingly provide babysitting if required.
