WHINDLEY is a modern detached bungalow with an attractive half acre garden, with splendid views of Gairloch Bay and across to Skye. Nestling beside Horisdale Island is the picturesque Badachro Bay. It is a short walk down the hill to the Steading Restaurant, Heritage Museum, Wild Cat Store and the sea shore. The golf course and beach are only a few minutes drive away. There are also good walks directly from the house.
ACCOMMODATION consists of one twin-bedded room, one double bedded room and one family room each with its own television, shower and toilet en suite. there is a cosy dining room and a comfortable lounge which offers a panoramic view of loch and mountains.
BREAKFAST is served at 8.30am
LUNCHES can be packed. Thermos flasks are not provided.
DINNER, if required is a four-course menu, planned to include local fish and home baking. Vegetarian and special diets on request.

BARS at nearby hotels, or if they wish, guests are invited to bring their own wine. Rain-soaked clothes can be dried. Dogs are welcome, but not in the public rooms or unattended in the grounds.
WHINDLEY is on the A832, nine miles from Loch Maree and seven from Inverewe Gardens and is in superb surroundings with magnificent views of mountains and lochs.
FISHING is available on the lochs and boats may be hired for sea fishing.
INVEREWE Gardens are a joy at any time and famous for their tropical plants.
BEACHES are safe and sandy at Gairloch, Opinan and Red Point.
GOLF offers an exciting 9-hole course beside the shore at Gairloch.
TORRIDON MOUNTAINS are famous for their scenic beauty and offer challenging climbs for the experienced and equipped.
PAINTING and SKETCHING can be enjoyed with the views and quiet places.
