Le Carrefour hotel is a gracious Victorian property full of character, standing on approximately half an acre site, in secluded landscaped gardens with it's own seasonal heated swimming pool. This is a natural sun-trap area being enclosed by large walls and many trees and where one can enjoy afternoon refreshments. The hotel was built in Victorian times and today still retains much of its original style. Antique furniture and old paintings decorate many of the rooms and hallways. The highly decorative lounge is not only a comfortable television room, but is filled with some very interesting and beautiful items.

The hotel's cusine is, in a word 'excellent', with a choice of table d'hote dinner, which does not require pre-ordering at breakfast, or a la carte with specialities prepared by our qualified chef. The spacious dining room is tastefully in keeping with the grand style of the other rooms. The hotel has a cosy and interesting bar known as the 'Chart Room' where guests can spend a pleasant hour or two reflecting on the days events.

The en suite bedrooms are very comfortable, and some are on the ground floor overlooking the swimming pool or gardens. They all have satellite television, direct dial telephones, heated towel rails and beverage facilities. The high grade rooms also have mini bars. Our motto is " We Care", this being shown by offering early morning tea and continental breakfast in your room if required and turning down your bed at night, just like it used to be when " Le Carrefour" was built over 100 years ago. There is a large car park available.

The proprietors Don and Jackie Keys-Massey personally manage the hotel which ensures that guests receive the best possible service at all times.

The hotel is situated only a few minutes walk from the quaint old town of St Peter Port with its French influence. Explore the tangle of lanes and narrow streets filled with shops, restaurants and pubs of every description or strol down to the picturesque harbour with its marinas teeming with yachts from all over the world and catch a ferry to one of the neighbouring islands. A variety of cliff walks is only a short bus ride away.
