We are quietly situated in two acres of ground half a mile from the village centre. The house was formerly built on a site five miles to the east of Aboyne, where it was known as Tillydrine House. In 1904 it was moved, stone by stone to its present location and has recently been subjected to substantial but sympathetic refurbishment. The aim has been to provide modern facilities in traditional surroundings.

All bedrooms have private bathrooms, central heating, television and tea and coffee making facilities. A spacious dining room and lounge overlook the front garden.

Magnificent scenery, the unhurried charm of its villages and people and an excellent climate make Royal Deeside a most favoured area. Whether your interest is Castles, Trust Propeties, Gardens, Distilleries, Highland Games or Wildlife, you will find Aboyne to be an ideal location.

Opportunities for activities holidays abound. The local Community Centre houses a theatre, library, swimming pool and squash court. Also in the village there are facilities for bowling, tennis, golf, water skiing and cycle hire. In the surrounding countryside there is pony trekking, rock climbing, hill walking, gliding and of course, fishing. For touring by car, Perth, Aberdeen, Aviemore and Inverness are easily within reach on a day round trip basis.

There is a good selection of places to eat within Aboyne and many more in surrounding villages.
