Beam Ends is a snug, well equipped, centrally heated cottage with the option of an open fire. It has a washing machine, microwave, etc in a well appointed kitchen and both bath and shower cubicle in the bathroom. There is an enclosed cottage garden to the rear.

The two bedrooms accommodate four adults comfortably. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has two singles. Bedroom two is accessed by two rather steep stairs and may not be considered convenient for either the very young or the inagile! Bed linen and towels are included.

This sixteenth century cottage, which has a Victorian extention, is situated in Aldbury, near Tring in Hertfordshire. Aldbury is a tiny village on the edge of Ashridge Forest, popular with both walkers and nature lovers and renowned for the deer which inhabit the forest. The village is of historical interest and has often been used for filming. There are many places of interest to visit locally and London is only 40 minutes away by train.

The Valiant Trooper, opposite the cottage, offers pleasant hospitality. The food is good and inexpensive in both restaurant and the bar and they offer a wide selection of beers. There are open fires in winter. The pub is visited by tourists and popular with the villagers.

The Village Store and Post Office provides all your needs including fresh milk, bread and daily papers.
