Malin Court offers a perfect blend of informality, congeniality, the best of local produce cooked to perfection and the warmest of Scottish welcomes.
All bedrooms are en suite and are fully equipped with all modern facilities, including satellite television. Each one has an exquisite view overlooking either Turnberry's famous 'Open' Championship Golf course or the mystical Isle of Arran and the Firth of Clyde.
Cotters Restaurant offers a successful blend of modern cooking, mixed with traditional Scottish dishes. Chef Andrea Beach uses only the finest local ingredients available each day for which she has been awarded 2AA Rosettes.
Mouthwatering menus are complemented by a comprehensive wine list of both traditional and new world wines. Aperitifs, liqueurs and coffees may be taken in the Cotters Bar, where log fires roar in winter and where conviviality may be derived from the wide ranging selection of Scottish Malt Whiskies.
Our conference and banqueting facilities comprise of four different sized suites which enable us to to offer a flexible array of packages designed to suit every taste and need. This includes conferences for both daily delegates and for 24 hour delegates, private dinners and celebration lunches, dinner dances, exhibitions, meetings, seminars and of course, wedding receptions. The Mariner Suite in particular, has its own reception area, car parking and cloakroom. Better still, all conference rates include conference equipment and use of our business facilities.
On the other hand, if it is leisure and recreation you are after, at Malin Court you will find a multitude of things to do and places to visit. Hunting, shooting, riding, fishing and sailing can be arranged. There are also twelve local golf courses within a twenty mile radius, including the 'Open' Championship courses at Turnberry and Troon.
Other nearby attractions are Culzean Castle and Country Park, which is only one mile from Malin Court, Butlins Wonderwest which is a few miles further on and the Heads of Ayr Farm Park. The county town of Ayr, itself has theatres, cinemas, beaches and numerous amusements for the children.
However, if you wish a few days away from the hustle and bustle of a hetic life, there are many quiet seaside walks close by with sea views which, especially around sunset, are breath taking.
If you wish to explore Burns Country and the picturesque South West of Scotland, we are only a few miles from Alloway where Scotland's National poet, Robert Burns was born and schooled and where the Burns National Heritage Park has recently opened, including the exciting Tam O'Shanter Experience and Burns Cottage.
We are also close by Souter Johnnie's Cottage, the Bachelor's Club, Mount Oliphant, Lochlea and Mossgiel Farm where Burns, at the plough, composed many of his famous poems.
