Arran House is a superior, beautifully appointed guest house under the personal supervision of the resident hosts, Darren and Lee Ford. The guest house has undergone complete refurbishment with en suite facilities, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers in every room. Rooms available: Two family/twin/double en suite, one double en suite, one double and one single with shared bathroom.

Separate dining room with satellite television compliments the house which has full central heating throughout. For our guests safety and peace of mind we have a Fire Certificate which includes smoke alarms in every room and fire bells in hallways.

A good Scottish breakfast awaits you and will set you up for the rest of the day.

We are situated right in the centre of town, a drive and a six iron from the 1st tee of the famous 'Old Course'. One of the benefits of our ancient and historic town is that you can easily walk everywhere. St Andrews can be explored best on foot, the combination of Medieval, Victorian and Edwardian streets forming one of the most attractive towns in Britain.

Visitors will be amazed at the beauty of our twelfth century Cathedral and thirteenth century Castle with its bottle dungeon and haunting counter mine. Founded in 1492 the University is Scotland's oldest. The town has many good restaurants, shops, museums, a cinema and the well acclaimed 'Byre' Theatre. There are miles of safe golden sandy beaches surrounding the town, which also has a picturesque harbour and pier.

Sporting facilities in the town are second to none with a swimming pool and leisure centre, water-sports, angling, tennis, horse riding, putting and of course, golf.

St Andrews and the surrounding area boasts many places of interest and historic buildings including Earlshall Castle, country parks and botanical gardens.

Why not take a scenic drive a few miles down the coast to the beautiful fishing villages of the East Neuk, with their quaint harbours and steep cobbled streets.
