Formerly part of a barn, The Old Grain House has been recently converted into a beautiful home to provide accommodation for guests.

The home is situated in the charming, golden-stone Cotswold village of Lower Swell by the pretty clear water of the River Dikler. It is just one mile from Stow-in-the Wold and an ideal centre for easy access to Cheltenham, Cirencester, Oxford, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and the many great houses, gardens and other places of interest in which the area abounds.

The villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter and Bourton-on-the-Water are also nearby. Stow-on-the-Wold, the focal point of the Cotswolds is only a few minutes away, and here you will find plenty of pubs, hotels and antique shops round the market square.

The Old Grain House, was exactly that, a large traditional grain store, part of a large farm, which has now been converted into an unusual, warm and welcoming Cotswold home.

There is a pretty double bedroom with en suite facilities and a single/double bedded room with private bathroom. Guests also have use of an elegant sitting room with access to the garden.

We do not serve evening meals, but there is excellent food available within easy walking distance, plenty of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages and in Stow-on-the-Wold just a mile away.

Please - no pets and no smoking.

We regret that the house is unsuitable for young children, but please ask about babies and older children.
