Eildon is a bueatifully restored East Lothian townhouse, built in 1802 and retaining much character. A traditional red sandstone house, it is a grade 2 listed for historic interest.

Eve personally welcomes you to her home and makes every effort to ensure that you enjoy your holiday in the area, with a combination of warm Scottish hospitality and advice on the best places to visit.

The house is furnished to a very high standard with antique furniture and original paintings.

Each morning guests can tuck into either a full cooked "Scottish" breakfast, or a substantial "Continental" breakfast if preferred.

Location

Mussleburgh is an historic town 5 miles east of Edinburgh City Centre which is about 20-25 minutes away by bus, or around 15 minutes by car.

Eildon Bed and Breakfast is located away from Musselburgh town centre on a secondary road and there is an excellent, frequent bus service to Edinburgh.

There are lovely walks along the River Esk through Lewisvake Park and to the beach and harbour.

Nearby is a swimming pool with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and other sporting facilities. There are 17 golf courses in the area, cinema, bowling and a theatre. Golf, fishing, horse-riding and karting can be arranged.

Musselburgh has a famous nine hole golf course and a racetrack.

The location is also ideal for drives to the superb beaches and countryside of East Lothian and the Historic Homes and Abbeys of the Border country.
