Surrounded by farmland and wooded countryside, the Castle of Park is a few miles from the Moray 'riviera' coast in north east Scotland, with its fishing villages, clifftop walks, sandy beaches and seaside golf links.

All our rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished in a traditional manner. For the winter months, full oil fired central heating, plus log fires and stoves, will add to the warmth of the hospitality.

The Castle of Park lies just to the south of the village of Cornhill, Aberdeenshire. Some five miles to the north is the picturesque fishing village of Portsoy and the county town of Banff is seven miles away. Both the Highland Tourist Route and the Malt Whiskey Trail run are nearby.

Other ancient castles are close by; to the south lie Kildrummy, Craigiever, Crathes and Balmoral on Royal Deeside. There are also dozens of distilleries producing 'the water of life', fine Scotch malt whisky.

The salmon rivers of the Deveron and the Spey are on either side and Royal Deeside is a 40 minute drive away.

To the south west are the Cairngorm mountains, with the Grampians beyond.

You can rent your own Georgian apartment, with double bedrooms, a sumptious sitting room and fully equipped kitchen - ideal for house parties of four or eight.

OR

You can book into a bedroom suite with four poster, candlelit dinner with the family and a full cooked Scottish breakfast.

If you opt for self catering, you can join our dinners and breakfasts on request.
