A warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere awaits you at The Old Cabbage Patch, so named because in years gone by, a local slightly eccentric farmer grew just cabbages on the site.

For our guests we have three rooms as follows. The Blue and Green rooms are double with shower en suite, and the Yellow is twin bedded with exclusive use of a luxury adjacent bathroom. All rooms are superbly presented and have colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating, for you comfort.

Breakfast is served at separate tables in our tastefully decorated dining room, which adjoins the pleasant conservatory. We try to please everyone's taste by providing an excellent self selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice and special grapefruit starter. There is a choice of main course breakfast which is cooked fresh to order and served at your table. Special diets can be catered for with prior notification. For your peace of mind, we have attended certified food hygiene courses.

With lovely gardens and ample parking, we are pleasantly situated close to Padstow and just a short stroll from the two beaches at Trevone Bay, one with fine sand, pictured above, the other rocky with a natural swimming pool.

Padstow is a working fishing port, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt harbour towns in the whole of Cornwall. There is a very good selection of restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs, with lots of shops including antique and bric-a-brac. There are lovely back streets to explore with interesting centuries old buildings.

There are so many beaches in the area that you could try a different one each day of your holiday and they are all perfect - simply paradise for beach lovers and surfers.

The Camel Estuary is excellent for wind surfing, water skiing and sailing. There are launching and mooring facilities and the sailing club at Padstow will arrange holiday membership, with lessons too, if required.

For golf fanatics there is an 18 hole, par 71 championship course with two 9 hole courses just a few minutes drive away and for those of you who like horse riding, there are stables close by as well. If you want to hear some fisherman's tales, this is the place for it, with both fresh water and ocean fish to be caught. There are also many beautiful walks in the area and the coastline is outstanding.

This is a non smoking establishment.
