Mrs Margaret Kirby would like to welcome you to Walston Mansion Farmhouse which is situated in peaceful countryside, close to the Scottish Borders.

We are well known for for our friendly hospitality and create a real home from home atmosphere and have many guests return year after year. We are recommended for our home cooking and offer a hearty breakfast menu and delicious evening meals using home produced meat, eggs and organic vegetables. Lovely home baked bread.

The farmhouse was built in 1803 and has central heating throughout and a cosy log fire in the guest lounge. The guest bedrooms each have colour television with video and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a childrens toy cupboard with videos and lots of small animals on the farm for guests to see.

We are in a lovely walking area and an ideal base for touring the Scottish Borders and the Clyde Valley. Edinburgh is 24 miles away with lots to see and do. Glasgow is 30 miles away with lovely historic buildings and National Trust properties to visit. New Lanark is 13 miles.

Within a 15 mile radius there are five lovely golf courses to play and horse riding can be arranged close by.
