Tarbet is a small village on the "bonnie banks" of Loch Lomond in Scotland's first National Park, on the A82. Ideal for touring, forest walks, hill walking, fishing, cruising Loch Lomond and cycling, it offers peace and tranquility. Glasgow Airport is 45 minutes away, ideally based for daytrips to Edinburgh, Stirling, The Trossachs, Oban and Fort William, all of which are under 2 hours drive.
Tarbet itself offers a Hotel, Restaurants, Tearoom and Tourist Board Information. Bus stop and West Highland Railway Station Arrochar/Tarbet are both 10 minutes walk to "Aye Servus". Arrochar is also linked with a forest walk of 30 minutes, offers a range of Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Shops.
Aye Servus is a small B&B located on a hillside, it's 36
steps to the front door, but with truly magnificent views from the oversized
window of the guestlounge over Ben & Loch Lomond. The guestlounge
has a TV and a "smokeless" fuel open fireplace with glassdoors. 1 x Double and 1
x twin bedded room, windows to the backgarden,shower and toilet for Guest use
only, a maximum 4 people. Breakfast is served daily between 8.00 a.m. and 10.00
a.m. and there is a choice of full Scottish, a Continental or a Vegetarian
Breakfast. Car parking and a large front garden with outside seating offering
panoramic views over Ben & Loch Lomond. Childen over 6 years are very
welcome. We operate a No Dogs policy.
