Athlumney Lodge is a 200 year old Georgian house and has undergone a complete restoration over the last 3 years, now standing as a prime example of fine Irish workwanship.
It presents superior standards in peaceful surroundings overlooking the River Boyne. All bedrooms are en-suites decorated in different colour schemes.
All rooms are fitted with ornate plaster coving and all doors and architraves are mahogonay fitted with brass fittings.
The house is centrally heated throughout and fully alarmed with both intruder
and fire alarms. You will find 2 kitchens, one downstairs and one smaller one
upstairs, there is a total of 7 x bathrooms (including the 5 en-suites) all
tiled from floor to ceiling. The large elegant drawing room has an open marble
fireplace and some antique furniture. The dining room has a mahogany fireplace
and Chippendale table.
The kitchen features an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer plus all the necessary kitchen utensils and crockery. The upstairs kitchen contains a hob, sink and fridge/freezer.All linen and towels are provided.
A beautiful one acre walled garden surrounds the house and provides a peaceful place to rest while enjoying the views over the River Boyne.
The house is surrounded by high walls and electronic gates and is an ideal property for those seeking total privacy.
