The Calder House Private Hotel is situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park. It is a family run, licensed hotel in a quiet residential area near the sea.
All our bedrooms have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clock and direct dial telephone. Most have en suite facilities and many have sea views.
We have a very comfortable, well stocked bar and bar-lounge with darts and pool table. We also have an extensive menu for bar meals and snacks (served between 7pm - 9pm) and this is a basis for our complete menu in the Restaurant.
We can cater for small parties for up to 45, for a wedding reception set menu or buffet arrangement and other small celebrations.
The main attraction of the area is GOLF! - but climbers and ramblers are also welcome! The Seascale Golf Club, a Championship Links Golf Course is only 150 yards from the Hotel.
A GOLF WEEKEND BY THE SEA: All in price of 130.00 per head.
Arrive Friday, possibly play golf in the afternoon and then play a further two games on Saturday, followed by a game on Sunday. Included in the price are two days bed, breakfast and dinner, plus three days green fees at Seascale Golf Club, Championship Links Par 72 Course.
Your tee-off times will be arranged at the time of your initil booking. You can also arrange to play other courses in the area, green fees to be paid in advance. Ring Bill Neal for a friendly response to your requirements.
