Valley View House is a charming granite house nestling in a traditional Cornish fishing cove. Set just a pebbles throw from the sea, this 100 year old family home has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, providing both double and and twin bedded accommodation, some en suite, all with colour television, hospitality tray etc. All rooms have individual character.
A friendly welcome awaits those seeking all creature comforts, and a desire to discover secret Cornwall from the perfect location.
This peaceful fishing village with its pebbly cove and colourful fishing boats some 100 metres away, will ensure a tranquil and restful holiday setting. A haven for walkers, the coastal footpath of the Lizard Peninsula with its breathtaking scenic views is literally on our doorstep.
Yes, this is du Maurier country. The picturesque Helford River with its lush wooded inlets and coves leading to "Frenchman's Creek" (immortalised in her romantic novel) are all within easy access.
There are a number of family beaches close by such as Coverack, Kynance Cove and Kennack Sands where Daphane du Maurier learned to swim as a child.
Close to numerous places of interest, such as the sub-tropical gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan, the National Seal Sanctuary etc. Why not visit the Eden project or the National Maritime Museum closeby?
Boat hire, cycle hire and horse riding can be arranged.
For those walking the coastal path luggage transfer is available.
For the gastronomically inclined we believe in real food; seafood is a speciality here. Locally grown produce used whenever possible. Bring your own wine, we will be only too pleased to provide corkscrew, glasses, ice etc.
The enclosed garden and terrace are ideal for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings or perhaps breakfast.
