Farrar's Hotel is unique in Eastbourne - quietly situated, yet within 200 yards of the seafront and promenade. Upon your arrival you will find a warm relaxing atmostphere. Our friendly staff will be only too pleased to assist you. The town centre is nearby and opposite you will find two theatres, a conference centre and Devonshire Park. Eastbourne offers excellent leisure facilities including swimming, fishing, hang-gliding, tennis, bowls, horse riding, windsurfing, sailing and golf.
All forty two attractively furnished bedrooms are centrally heated and have either bathroom or shower en suite, direct dial telephone, radio, remote control colour television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. There are two lifts and porters are on duty day and night.
Children are catered for and cots, highchairs and a baby listening service are always available.
Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea or just simply relax in one of our three attractive centrally heated lounges. A wide variety of bar snacks are available at lunch time in our comfortable cocktail bar.
Our fully licensed restaurant offers chef's tempting menu; luncheon can also be taken informally in the garden. In the evening our four course dinner menu is served, complemented by our well chosen wine list.
From wide bay windows you can enjoy views to the South Downs from most of our rear bedrooms. The front bedrooms have an open aspect as the hotel stands well back from the road.
Our function room is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, having its own terrace and garden. We also have our own (free) large private car park in the forecourt of the hotel to accommodate up to 26 cars.
Small conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses are all catered for by experienced staff and under personal supervision of the proprietor, who will be pleased to discuss your particular requirements.
